opportunities
In 2025, we created over 20 new roles across the
Group, supporting the growth of Wernick Power
Solutions and our modular building and portable
building manufacturing capabilities. Ongoing
training ensures a skilled workforce. We also
recorded a record £96 million capital investment
across our hire fleet, property, plant and
equipment, alongside the acquisition of Rawley
Plant Hire Limited.
We continued partnerships with local universities,
hosting three interns in 2025. In 2026, we will
continue to offer internships in collaboration with
the University of York and Swansea University to
support hosted learning.
Also in 2025, Wernick partnered with Morgan
Sindall on a T-Level Employer-Led Project
involving students from The Manchester College.
Students worked on redesigning Morgan
Sindall’s”Knowledge Quad”, an inclusive modular
learning space used on construction sites.
Wernick supported the initiative by hosting
factory visits and providing industry insight into
modular construction.
