economy
Circular economy principles underpin our
manufacturing processes and hire-based
business model. We continue to extend asset
life through reuse and refurbishment, minimise
waste through design for disassembly and
keep materials in circulation through recycling
and end-of-life donations.
We have continued our partnership
with Swansea University and adopted a
methodology for assessing the Whole Life
Carbon (WLC) impact of modular buildings,
supporting the UK’s net zero targets.
The project was funded by the EPSRC Switch
to Net Zero Buildings Place Based Impact
Acceleration Award, the project also supports
the commitments set out in the MPBA’s 2025
Net Zero Roadmap.
