Publicly committed to achieving SBTi validated near
and long-term targets (2032 and 2040), building on
the success of our partnership with the
PTNZ campaign.
Broadened the scope of social value delivery with our
new social value framework, demonstrating how we
can improve the environment and communities within
which we operate.
Generated over 305,000 kWh of renewable energy
across our estate, doubling our generation year on
year whilst providing 9% of our energy for overall
annual consumption.
We continue to be transparent in our transition
towards achieving net zero, we published our first
manufacturing plan to show how Wernick Refurbished
Buildings will achieve net zero in the near future.
Introduced our first EPC A+ rated office within our
estate, as we improve the energy efficiency of our
offices and depots.
Benchmarked our haulier mileage for the delivery and
collection of our assets at 41 miles, demonstrating that
we can serve local operations across the UK.
Installed a further 42 kWp of solar at Wernick Hire
Inverness depot and Wernick Power Solutions Vigo
Place depot, as well as 60 kWp at the new facility for
Wernick AVDanzer.
Our company car fleet is now exclusively plug-in
hybrid electric vehicles, with fully electric vehicles
being introduced to provide greater choice. In 2025,
we expanded our charging infrastructure to support
the transition to electric vehicles.
Delivered Climate Awareness Training sessions to
Wernick Hire, Wernick Refurbished Buildings, Wernick
AVDanzer and Wernick Buildings with a further rollout
across all Group management teams in 2026.
