The safety and wellbeing of staff is our number one priority. By providing a safe working
environment, good working conditions and ongoing training and development opportunities,
we ensure staff feel secure and supported and fulfilled in their roles.

Supporting the health and wellbeing of our workforce is
about enabling physical and emotional safety at work
and creating a positive supportive working environment
where individuals can thrive.

Our internal health and safety experts provide specialist
advice as well as ongoing workforce training. These
include extensive safety courses relevant to each role, in
most cases supervised by independent expert training
organisations

Our Wrkit employee portal provides access to hundreds
of free online learning courses covering business and
management. These include health and psychology,
environment, technology, design and more. Retail
discounts with well-known brands are also included

All staff and their families have access to our employee
assistance programme from Health Assured. This
includes 24-hour confidential support for stress, legal
and financial matters, counselling, medical assessments
and treatment, personal coaching and fitness advice and
a corporate eyecare scheme. We also provide staff with
access to mental health first-aiders across the Group

All staff are encouraged to use alternative forms of transport
if they can. We have installed bike storage facilities and
provided access to showers and changing facilities at new
sites for those who decide to cycle or jog to work. We have
the Cycle to Work Scheme which is accessible to all staff

and all of our literature is now online. This can be
accessed via a wide range of digital tools, providing
interactive tools and the latest updates on our
